ZuGo Advisory was built on a simple belief: growing companies deserve senior finance support, not just more spreadsheets.
I started my career in Big 4 at KPMG and later moved into senior finance roles at TSX and NASDAQ-listed companies across mining, life sciences, and technology — working across Canada, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, Germany, and the UK.
Over the years I kept seeing the same pattern: companies hiring finance people too early, too late, or for the wrong role. Sometimes they needed strategy but hired accounting. Sometimes they just needed someone experienced to step in, bring clarity, and help leadership make confident decisions.
That is why I built ZuGo Advisory.
I work directly with founders and management teams as a partner in their business , not just an external consultant. I care about the outcome and the people behind it.
And when I am not working on finance and strategy, I am usually walking Luke, my dog and most loyal coworker.
My Approach
I do not come in with a generic framework. Every engagement starts with understanding how your business actually works: your revenue model, your cost drivers, your growth constraints, and where the real pressure points are. Finance that is disconnected from the business is one of the most expensive problems a growing company can have. I close that gap.
One pattern I have seen repeatedly: companies hire the wrong finance profile at the wrong time. A bookkeeper when they need strategic guidance. A full-time CFO when what they really need is experienced financial leadership on a flexible basis. Catching that gap early changes everything.
